10th Raid De Himalaya Rally to be held from Oct 2 to 9

The 10th Raid De Himalaya Rally will be held from 2nd to 9th October, 2008. Being India prominent motor sports event, Raid De Himalaya will cover a distance of 2050 kms through most rugged trains of Himalaya including Shimla, Sangla, Manali, Kaza, Keylong, Sarchu, Leh, Kargil and Srinagar. The Raid will finish at Srinagar on October 9, 2008 followed by prize distribution ceremony at Srinagar.

As a fan of motorsports, I had been following the rally for a few years. This is one of the toughest motor rallies in the world and I am sure that the participants will have some fun. Just wish that we have no casualties this time.
The Raid de Himalaya is one of the best motor rallies in the world. The track can sometimes be very treacherous for the drivers because of the unpredictability of the weather in that region. Great race, on top league.
